Can I wear a bra with it?
You don’t need one. The six-panel bodice is seamed to hold shape on its own, and the plunge is stabilised so the edges keep their line instead of folding open. Adhesive cups sit flat behind the keyhole if you want extra security. A standard bra won’t work with the open back — that’s the trade, and it’s the whole point of the silhouette.
Will the skirt fly up?
There’s a full built-in short underneath in the same denim and wash, hemmed above the skirt line so it never shows. Wind, stairs, a bike, a dance floor — nothing to guard. This is the reason people keep it over every other flared mini they own.
Is it see-through?
No. Opaque in every colourway, in daylight and under flash. The body is doubled through the short and the denim is woven tight even though it’s light. Photograph it however you like.
Will the ties come undone?
The straps cross and feed through a fixed band at the back before they tie, so the knot carries no structural load — the band does. Even if a tie loosens, nothing shifts. Double-knot it and forget about it.
Does it work on a bigger bust or wider hips?
The tie-back adjusts at the two points that actually change fit: strap length and back tension. The godet skirt is released rather than fitted, so it clears the hip instead of clinging. Between sizes, take the larger and tune it with the ties.
How do I wash it, and will it last?
Cold machine wash inside out, gentle cycle, hang to dry. Skip the dryer — heat is what kills the drape. Every stress point (strap anchors, back band, pocket corners, godet seams) is bar-tacked and reinforced, and panel seams are overlocked so nothing frays open.
